- InControl Apps subscribers can download Spotify from the Apple App Store if it’s not already on their device. From September 27, once downloaded, the app will automatically show up on the vehicle touch screen when the smartphone is connected(1). Users do not need a premium subscription to access Spotify via InControl Apps.
Anyway as many of you know Jaguar have removed spotify from incontrol apps and for us with only the standard ICT I feel like a big part of the systems functionality has been taken away. However I think I found a way of getting it back. What I have done is working on my android samsung S9+ I will list the steps below:1. I cleared the cache and storage of the incontrol app this reset the app. On starting the app and going through the tour I see spotify is back

2. I downloaded https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netspark.firewall I used this app to block Jaguar incontrol apps internet connection
3. I turned off automatic app updates in the play store.
